Paige’s best reads of 2015 (series)

A few hours from now, we will say goodbye to 2015 and as a tradition of mine,I’d like to look back and remember what are the best books that I’ve read. First of would be my favorite series for this year.

1.The MISTBORN SERIES by Brandon Sanderson:

Seriously. No words can describe how wonderful and spell binding this series is. Technically, all of Sanderson’s books are awesome, but I feel like I need to put stress on this series.

This is me, every time I finish reading a Mistborn novel:

2. The MONSTRUMOLOGIST SERIES by Rick Yancey

This series fucked me up.

I didn’t expect to be drawn into this dark, emotional book. Let me tell you something, if a book makes you realize things and makes you afraid of your own self, then it’s a proof that the book is one of a kind.

3. THE FIXER by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

22929578

A political conspiracy with a badass heroine who doesn’t need a man in her life to save the day?

4.Ink and Bone (#1 of The Great Library series)  by Rachel Caine

20643052

What’s better than a book about books? In this alternate history, possession of books are forbidden but thank goodness our hero is not a law abiding citizen. Our hero is a smuggler of books and I fangirled for life.

5. WAYWARD PINES by Blake Crouchhttps://sociallyawkwardbookworm.files.wordpress.com/2015/01/img_1788.jpg

I should have worn a condom in my head when I was reading this because it blows my mind.

6.THE INVISIBLE LIBRARY (The Invisible Library #1) by Genevieve Cogman

Just think of this as a Doctor Who with badass Librarian who hunts unique books in different dimensions.

7.A Darker Shade of Magic (A Darker Shade of Magic #1) by V.E. Schwab

24845064

The cover. Kell’s coat. 4 Londons. Bromance. What more can I ask for?

That sums up my fave series that I’ve read in 2015.  Next up would be the fave standalones. I didn’t put the blurb because it would take forever for you to read this post if that happened.  🙂 Is there any book(s) that I’ve had mentioned is a favorite of yours too? If hell yes it is, then let’s fangirl!

Happy New Year Everyone!
